Bali Blue — Volcanic Depth, Island-Born Complexity
From the Kintamani Highlands of Central Bali, Indonesia, this Bali Blue Single Origin is a coffee crafted for those who seek distinctive flavor, exclusivity, and terroir-driven character. Grown at elevations between 1,200 and 1,600 MASL in volcanic loam soils, these specialty-grade beans thrive alongside citrus trees on family-owned farms organized through Subak Abian, a traditional Balinese cooperative structure rooted in ecological sustainability and harmony with nature.
Roasted to a medium-dark profile, the cup delivers baker’s chocolate, orange peel, juniper, and molasses, finishing clean with a full, layered body. The flavor is bold, nuanced, and unmistakably Balinese — perfect for coffee enthusiasts who appreciate the complexity and traceability of single-origin beans.
This lot features Bourbon (S795 & USDA 762), Typica, and Catimor varietals, hand-picked and processed using the wet-hulling method (Giling Basah). After depulping and overnight fermentation, the beans are washed, sun-dried on raised beds in a two-step process, and hulled while still moist. This unique method produces the beans’ signature bluish hue and contributes to the coffee’s distinct earthy depth and smooth character.
Each order is roasted in small batches after it is placed, ensuring peak freshness and the full expression of Bali’s highland terroir. Grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, Bali Blue represents a centuries-old Balinese tradition of sustainable, mindful cultivation.
For those who demand exclusive origin, refined complexity, and artisan craftsmanship, Bali Blue Single Origin delivers a bold, clean, and unforgettable cup — a true taste of the Kintamani highlands in every sip.
